New Dawn is a Hamburg based band featuring Pika Dias (Vocals), Yannik Rage (Drums), Ricardo Moreira (Bass) and Igor Rodrigues (guitar)
The band Started as Memory Lane in 2017 with Pika Dias and counted with the help of world famous names like Eike Freese (Alice Cooper, Deep Purple) and Kai Hansen (Helloween, Gammaray) on recording and songwritting but the project was stopped due to the lack of time of some members to tour, Pika Dias joined forces with Yannik Rage to start the New Dawn project in 2019, after the first recordings the project was again brought to an halt because of the Covid pandemic wich forced Pika to go back to his home Country in Portugal, the project kept on going and despite the distance the first Record (Beneath the Shadows) was finish by Pika and Yannik.
By the end of the pandemic without the two other missing members and as professional touring musicians not being able to tour the band was completely broke and had to start from scratch to build their lives once more as well as finding the missing members.
After 2 years of hard search finally brazilian guitar genious Igor Rodrigues and Portuguiese bass monster Ricardo Moreira finally completed the line up. The band then spend outrageous amounts of money building their own studio so nothing can ever again stand in their way to create music and is now finally ready to hit the stages with full force.
The elements of New Dawn are a group of friends that live, breathe and dream in music it became a story of overcoming adversity and the low points of life and always come back stronger on the other side and nothing is going to stop them to keep on creating great music.
