Gee Chambers (Saxophonist)
Gee is a saxophonist who has worked with various bands covering different genres and styles of music ranging from Funk-Rock-Jazz- Soulful Jazz-Motown, House and garage, Reggae and Gospel.
In addition, gigging with his band playing venues around England, including the BBC stage in Birmingham, West Midlands, Ronnie Scott’s, Glastonbury and had a regular spot with different DJs at the Hippodrome in London.
Working as a session musician, he has toured England Europe with well known Reggae artist Dr Alimantado, poet Yusuf, pop band Then Jericho and Maka B
Wanting to gain a deeper understanding of music, in 1997 Gee decided to attend the University of Middlesex, after completing his Degree in Music. Gee then taught music in schools around the Midlands for 8 years. However, the love of being on stage as a live musician was too great and Gee soon went back into music full-time.
His sweet sound, Friendly, polite charismatic and most of all professional approach to his work is highly recommended. His performance can be a full-blown stage performance with his band or a laid-back session provided by Gee and his Saxophone.
His repertoire is versatile and he is able to adapt to any situation. He is also a composer writing instrumental and vocal music, and has released an EP of his original works and is now planning to release his album of original compositions.
